Digitarium Augmented Lessons
Augmented Lessons are lessons in digital form designed to make live, interactive planetarium shows as easy as possible. Lessons from Digitalis and PASS are available for use with our Universal Console iPad or desktop interface.
Free Astronomy Software
Digitalis spearheads development of Nightshade the astronomy simulation software used in all Digitarium systems. You can run this same software on your own computer (Linux, Windows, OSX) for free. A great resource for students and school computer labs.
Astronomy Education Background Information
We have collected links to useful websites for astronomy background information and activities, followed by a recommended reading list.
Live Interactive Planetarium Symposium (LIPS)
Don't miss this annual event to learn, practice, and share skills and ideas for teaching live in any type of planetarium. Originally instigated by Digitalis, this is a vendor-neutral conference hosted by organizations around the US. Learn more at LIPSymposium.org.
Wow! The Digitalis projector is a true innovation for portable planetaria. It is compact, one-piece and easily transported -- no more multiple cylinders, no more tiny planet pieces or moon magnets. The software it contains increases a hundredfold (maybe more) the capacity of topics we can do in the portable planetarium... Thank you, Digitalis!
