|Maximum Dome Diameter
||Approximately 56 feet/17 meters. Brightness
is the main
issue, since the larger the dome,
the larger the surface area the light from the projector must cover.
||768 pixels across a diameter
|Field of view
||180 degrees, full sky.
|Pixels per degree of sky
|Angle of Projection
|Base Projector Brightness
||6500 Lumens with both lamps and a non-fisheye lens (Provided for comparison purposes with other systems. Actual brightness with a fisheye lens is significantly less due to not projecting the whole video rectangle and differing lens properties.)
The projector has two lamps which can be used one at a time, or both together for the brightest projection.
||Improved sharpness and less violet color separation than in the Digitarium Alpha 2.|
||1 TB standard.|

Overall, I would rate Digitalis Education and [my Digitarium] Alpha 2 system as a +12 on a ten point scale. The service is second to none. It is the most intuitive system to operate of any I have tested (Digital Starlab, mirror systems, others which cost several times the cost of the Alpha 2) The product is very robust.
